Mayukh Hazarika returned to the Northeast with a question: why had the world not tasted its soul? His answer was a gin shaped by Cherrapunji's rain, native botanicals, and a belief that a regional identity can travel far.
Raised in Shillong and later trained at IIM Indore, Hazarika built a career with Indian consumer brands before returning to Meghalaya with a more personal ambition. Cherrapunji Gin uses harvested rainwater and native botanicals to make the place itself the starting point, while a steel bottle carries its sustainability argument into the object people take home.
